By 2010 it had 3.5 million users and raised $10 million (US) by 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since there aren&#8217;t any options for self-hosting, there aren&#8217;t any server requirements, however, with the drag-and-drop functions within the Wix platform, it is recommended that a user keep their browsers up-to-date, clear your browser&#8217;s cashe an cookies as needed, and be sure your computer is has a minimum of 2 GB of RAM and a processor speed of 2 GHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hosted or Self-Hosted<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Wix is an all-in-one hosted website platform. They provide the hosting and do not offer self-hosting to their users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cost<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several plans to chose from through Wix including free use. If using the free version, the user may not be able to create a custom domain name and ads will appear on every page. Of their paid plans, they range from $16\/month (Light) to $159\/month (Business Elite).
