I think this website will be a good resource to inspect as I become more familiar with Web Development. With all the animations on here, there is a lot to look at behind the scenes. The most impressive animations are coded using javascript which I am not familiar with yet. A lot of what is going on here is not entirely clear to me. The best way to describe it, is that when an animation is running, the code inside the inspection tools lights up and twinkles like Las Vegas. Overall, for me the coding on the site is hard to understand, but that's not to say there is anything wrong with it, rather, it is of a level which I have not yet attained. Even so, I was able to identify many of the inner workings with the developer tools. Overall, I am impressed with the coding skills displayed on this website.
User Interface - UI
Although this website feels like a surprising, fun playground, it is equally well organized and purposeful. The navigation links have telling hover states which leave no room for confusion, and each page is specific to it's stated purpose. The colors are also well thought out and provide good contrast in both color pallets.
User Experience - UX
This is a very entertaining and fun website. There is a lot of interaction on the site which makes the user feel very engaged and largely in control of the website. For instance, the user is able to switch the site from dark mode to light mode by switching a toggle. Or they can click on the lamp for the same effect. The animations have interactive properties that make this site, and the interaction with it, really come to life.
Summary
Overall, this is a site I have bookmarked as a resource for continued learning. There is a tremendous amount of material to learn here. It's not that the site is large and cumbersome though, rather, the code content alone provides further learning. Add that to the tutorials, links, and articles which aid in deeper learning, this website is something worth revisiting and studying.
